If asked, likely millions of Christians would describe "worship" as the songs that are sung during a church service or gathering. They will talk about different worship styles, based on the type of music and how it's presented. Is it completely traditional with just an organ and maybe occasional piano? Or acapella? Is there a praise team with guitars, drums, etc? Are they right? Is that, and that alone, worship? Or does the Bible mean something altogether different when it speaks of "worship"?This book begins with helping the reader who seeks first an enriched personal worship-filled life. When a group of these people gather together in a biblically-sound environment, corporate worship (an entirely different experience) happens. God acts differently in such a group than He does with individuals!But, unfortunately, not everything being done in the name of worshiping the Lord lines up with His Word. God will not contradict Himself. So we are to understand what the Bible says for ourselves so we can't be deceived.
