Night Owl is a compilation of poems written during the 2020 pandemic in which the author attempts to write from a perspective outside of himself. Writing poems based on other people's life experiences and stories shared. Readers can expect to see poems covering the usual turmoil of mental health and navigating being a person of color in America that the writer explores on a regular basis in previous chapbooks. What makes Night Owl different is that The Poet Q also explores intimacy, honest self reflection, and healing by being open to the possibility of loving again.
