Breaking the Silence is the author's story of her life transformation after being sexually abused as a child by a family member. The desire is to provide tips and tools to parents, adults, organizations working with abused victims, foster parents and caring adults on how to have those impactful conversations with the family related to abuse and how to prevent it. Families don't discuss abuse simply because of guilt, shame and embarrassment that it happened within the family. Its time to break the silence and talk about those difficult things to educate, empower and help build our children and loved one's confidence to speak up against abuse. Breaking the silence give practical tips and tools in each chapter along with journaling opportunities as well as prayers after each chapter to help with moving forward.

Breaking the silence gives hope to readers they can overcome, heal, and move forward, forgive and live the life God intended. Transformational testimony on choosing to speak out to help others open up and fight against child sexual abuse.
