A man is injured heroically stopping a terrorist attack on a London subway but doesn't seek to be in the spotlight. One investigative journalist hearing his story suspects that he is not who he says he is and is determined to get the real story. What he doesn't expect is when the real story turns out to be that the man claims that he is a 200-year-old immortal who was on his way to commit suicide but now decides to relate his entire life story from the slums of 19th century London right up to the present day. Is the man lying, delusional and insane, or is his story about being a 200-year-old immortal the honest truth?
