This is the author's first book and it is an autobiographical account and it is meant to educate the reader about childhood sexual abuse and how its effects influenced his entire life including his choice of partners and his failed relationships. Joseph is gay, and this book is about coming to terms with the abuse as well as coming out gay later in life after being married with children.
