Tom Wells was a career Air Force veteran who is newly married with four children. Tom's retirement is imminent and while he has some personal as well as professional issues, his oldest child Leigh is coming of age. Leigh faces things that many teenagers face when coming of age. As she takes on things she's never dealt with before she does her best to solve her problems as honestly as she can. Getting ready to finish her junior year and then move from the familiar in Fargo, North Dakota to the unknown in a small town in southern Minnesota, Leigh is faced with some daunting things.
