Raising children that are "well" is hard enough. Imagine taking care of a child that could die at any moment. That has been Cewanda Todd's reality since 2008. At 21 weeks pregnant her doctor told her that her baby's heart had a missing right chamber, the chamber that pumps blood to its lungs. To address the condition Cewanda had three options, and each one could result in the death of her baby. Beautifully Scarred is her account of how this experience changed the course of her life, impacted her family, and deepened her faith. She believes this all happened in order to help another mother, father, or family know that even though you have been given the assignment of caregiver, you can do it. You will get through it.
