These stories are about a young boy called Henry and his magical adventures with his handed down old bear. His adventures are great fun and they help him make decisions and sometimes help with his school work. How these adventures start is very magical, even Henry does not believe it at first.

In his first adventure Henry has a great time once he gets over the shock of arriving back in time. He learns how hard lives were and what some people did for a living and makes two new friends.

His second adventure takes him somewhere completely different and he learns to enjoy and respect the countryside.

The final adventure in this series finds Henry at the seaside, where he learns the importance of clearing up at the seaside. He is able to share this information with his friends and family but not his secret.
