Marc Notes: This work was born in the realization that African, American, and French churches, in spite of their numerous programmes and activities, are only producing a small number of true disciples of Jesus who are accompanying others on the path of discipleship. How might we explain the fact that so many of the attendees in our faith communities are so unlike their Master in the way they think and act? What could we change in our understanding, and in our practices, to facilitate more life transformation and spiritual multiplication? In answering these questions, the author proposes a different ecclesial and missional paradigm which he believes could enable us to better equip and mobilize believers in the mission that the resurrected Christ gave to us, all to the glory of God.
