This book is a survivor's guide. It journeys through my childhood trauma of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse to when I was held up at gunpoint as an adult at work. My story could have culminated at one of my suicide attempts, but it doesn't. In fact, my story doesn't end because every day has become a new beginning where I am finding more hope, health, and peace than I ever thought possible. It is my hope that my own struggle will help make you feel less alone; will help you to realize that you are valued; will help you to know that even at your darkest minutes your life is worth living; will help you to know there is always more that can be done for you; will help you to truly understand...
