When devastating news hits, just as you are adapting to your life as a young adult, you may struggle to cope and consequently handle situations poorly. But then life slowly takes on a feeling of normality, you accept things for what they are, you fall in love and you become a better person for the trauma.




As Keegan Devlin, a young man growing up on a council estate in East London, faces the news of his best friends terminal condition, he reacts and not initially in a positive way. Meeting Emily he transforms his life and makes a bold decision aiming to give them a future. But then War! The Falkland's have been invaded and Keegan, as a member of The Parachute Regiment is part of the task force sent to recapture the islands. If fighting battles in terrifying conditions was not enough for a young man to cope with, events happening back in the UK will have profound life changing consequences for everybody.
