Maria's a beautiful woman who is married to Javier; a criminal and powerful man in the community. They live a luxurious lifestyle in a fabulous beach house in Mazatlán, Mexico. After waking up from a coma, caused by a horrific car accident, Maria is diagnosed with Amnesia. Struggling to remember her life, the family doctor puts Maria on an experimental medication to help with her memory loss, but she is told she may never recall her past life.



After months of recovering and feeling like she can now move on, Maria starts questioning everything when she comes across old photographs, hidden rooms in her house and questionable stories from her 'friends'.



Over time she struggles to trust her husband, the stories told to her, and is besieged by recurring 'dreams'. Eventually, Maria learns the truth about her medical condition, her husband's business of human trafficking and her former life.
