This is a story of a family that used the white man's western education to overcome some of their plights and predicaments and eventually came out successful despite the odds and challenges. The family used education to get back some of the things they lost in the past as a result of illiteracy and ignorance. The story reveals life and values in the rural setting. It further highlights some avenues of succeeding in life and coming to limelight with hard work, patience, planning and perseverance.
