Gabe Wakeman has a problem. He is a modern-day Shaman who gives too much of himself. When his friend, Vince Conklin, asks for his help with his trainwreck of a godson, Bobby Wyring, Gabe reluctantly agrees. He invites Bobby to attend his Journey Group, where Gabe treats his clients through the powerful combination of psycho-spiritual therapy and psychedelic medicines. When the Group is deep in their spiritual visions, an intruder in the garden drives Bobby to flee into the darkness.
