Matt Salis is a husband, a father, a hard worker and a cheerful neighbor with a strong faith and a respectable reputation. But he had a secret that was killing him slowly, and it threatened to take away everything.




Matt was a high-functioning alcoholic, and along with his wife, Sheri, they were holding on by their fingernails. AA was not a good fit, and he didn't have time for inpatient rehab. Sobriety was a necessary prerequisite, but it was an incomplete solution. When he ripped off the bandage alcohol had become, he found insecurity, shame, denial, anger and a marriage on the verge of destruction.




Matt and Sheri needed more than traditional, outdated modes of recovery. They needed to evolve away from the grip alcohol had on their lives and their marriage.
