This book is somewhat of an autobiography of someone who was raised in a traditional bible teaching church and doing everything they know to do is right only to discover that there is so much more. Too many times we settle into the comfortable instead of allowing ourselves to be stretched. Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV) says,"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. I believe that God has called us to continue to grow until we are walking as Jesus commanded. Matthew 10: 7-8 (NIV) says, "As you go, preach this message: The Kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." This gives the practical steps that I have taken and have taught to help the body of Christ become mature disciples. The challenge is to always pursue God with everything that is in us, because we don't know what we don't know. There is always more.
