Mars Transit blends elements of science fiction, romance, erotica, and comedy. Sol Vincente, already one of the richest men on Earth, has made yet another fortune on Mars. Now he has decided to return home. He books passage on board the Speedy, a ship that utilizes slip-speed technology to make the journey in eight days instead of the standard eight months. To enter slip-speed a ship must be very small and very light, hence the Speedy is entirely automated, has no captain or crew, and there is barely room in the tiny cabin for two people. This is a problem for Sol because he is intensely claustrophobic. To distract himself from his fear of closed-in spaces, Sol hires Jana, young and uninhibited, to be his companion. But Jana is not at all what Sol has bargained for. Cut off in slip-speed from the outside world, Sol and Jana find themselves in confrontation with each other and with their fears. And things only get worse when the ship begins to malfunction. Adults only.
