Patrice sauntered into her interview at York & Newton, one of the largest Public Relations firms in Washington D. C., brimming with confidence. That is until she realized her ex-boyfriend John was the senior executive who was interviewing her. Her boyfriend Sean, a police sergeant, has been increasingly focused on his old partner who is under investigation for murder. Meanwhile, John and his wife Lily have been growing apart for years despite the social worker in her trying fervently to close the chasm between them.
