John Ramsay has spent his lifetime seeking ways to inspire fellow Americans to understand that our values make a difference in how we live. He illustrates Questionable Theology with examples of everyday experiences.

The first two chapters set forth the position of Questionable Theology. The next seven chapters explore some of the changes in outlook needed before this outlook can be fully implemented. Then, Chapters 10, 11, and 12 look at the implications for American's in education, economics, and politics. Chapter 13 is a case study of Denmark's development as it embraced this mix of the values of individual responsibility with social cooperation.
