Duel of the Monsters Volume 1 Pete Rawlik

We hapless humans have always feared the monsters among us, and rightfully so. Now, let them fear each other as well! This first volume in a series of anthologies will bring you ten short stories and a bonus flash fiction featuring a variety of classic creature types throwing down. Each of these terror tales will feature two monsters of a different popular archetype and the unfortunate humans who cross their paths. The monstrous duo to be found in every story will find themselves headed for a deadly collision course with each other where only one will emerge the victor in the end. Which monster will win... When a Vampire knocks heads and fangs with a Werewolf at a rave? When the legendary Canadian lake monster Ogopogo faces off against an invasive Giant Eel?When the dreaded Jersey Devil of the Pine Barrens faces a territorial challenge from another feared flying beast, the Mothman? When a Yeti finds himself transported to - and most unwelcome at -- the territory of the fearsome Owlman? When an Alpha Serial Killer matches wits and blades against a homicidal Invisible Man?When a Killer Clown has a major disagreement with a Vampire? When a mighty Cyclops finds his path impeded by a fearsome Dragon? When an attempted Alien abduction in a strange old house goes awry when the Grays are forced to pit their super-science against an unexpected occupant of the hoary residence: a vengeful and powerful Ghost? When a man-eating Wendigo incurs the wrath of a bony Skeletoid? When a vicious Alpha Serial Killer decides an undead Zombie would make the best prey? When a Goofus Bird risks life and feathers to outrace the scaly twines of a fast-rolling Hoop Snake? You will find the answers when you peruse these nightmarish pages! Each author has decided which of their combatants will emerge as the winner and the outcomes they chose may very well be shocking to the core. We will keep you guessing until you reach the horrific climax of each tale.
