Daleeia is a seven year old girl who is frightened out of her wits. She has heard so many horror stories about how hard second grade could be. She has struggled with school and is on the fence about going to second grade. She thought about ways to avoid it, but she knew mom would not let her stay home from school unless she was sick! Like any other second grader Daleeia loved to go shopping, ESPECIALLY school shopping. Looking at all the pretty colors of book bags and being able to pick one. She also enjoyed looking for new clothes, shoes, pencils and crayons. Daleeia had some fears and concerns about what she might learn and if she would have fun. Join us in reading about the challenges and successes of second grade for Daleeia. Will it be a complete disaster or will she be able to navigate second grade with very little difficulty?
