A collection of Essays on Substance Use Disorder. While the author is not a professional Addiction Specialist, these essays were based on his experiences both as a person in long-term Recovery and from having a spouse and child who struggled with Addiction and Recovery. Therefore, the essays are not meant to be instructional, but informational, letting all those who struggle, the Addict and the people in their lives, know that they are not alone, and that there is always hope. As many of these essays were written in support of Project Live UP (projectliveup.org), a grassroots community group focused on provided support and resources to those impacted by Substance Use Disorder, 50% of the profits will be donated to that group.
