The main purpose for writing this book is to share my experiences, as a memoir to my family and friends, especially the succeeding generation, to give them an insight into the ordinary ways, customs and thoughts of an ordinary person like me during my time. In this ever changing world where technology is speeding towards mind boggling possibilities affecting customs, traditions and ways of life of the present generation, it may serve as something to contemplate regarding the spiritual and moral values of old times. Whatever the fashion, technology, social trend and legal issues of the present times, the fundamental things in life remain the same. As we encounter and face the intricacies, challenges and wonders of life, our choices, decisions, actions, reactions, desires and mistakes will still lead us to circumstances that will make us experience love, joy, anger, sorrow, fear and all kinds of emotions. As we go through our life's journey, we must have a strong faith to guide our way. Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me" JOHN 14:6 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the law and the prophets. Enter through the narrow gate. For wider is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." MATTHEW 7:12-14
