Poetry has always been a part of me, like a rhythmic DNA strand. It's as much a part of my being, as are my brown eyes or straight hair. Most of the time, poetry just flows through me, an unconscious inner dialogue. I find verse comes easier than words, and are generally more pleasant to the receiver. A number of the poems within this book contain illustrations by my husband and creative soul-mate, Rick Wylie.
