This book is a collection of essays from Biblical studies written throughout the years, drawing from ancient Jewish sources in order to make the connection, to build the bridge between Jewish thought and early Christianity. After all, these are the origins of Christian theology. It also intends to study the philosophical works and thoughts of Jewish philosophers, such as Emmanuel Levinas and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. Dr. Ana C. Freitas is a Medical Doctor, poet and writer, with a Post-Graduate degree in Law. She is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the International Brain Research Organization and the Society of Biblical Literature. Dr. Freitas is a lifetime student of Hebrew, Midrash and the Bible, having studied Hebrew, Torah and Midrash at the Nucleus of Jewish Studies. She is a published writer and researcher in the fields of Medicine, Bioethics, Philosophy and Theology.
