The composition includes many kinds of love stories, a variety of fables, fantastic tales of other worlds, social commentaries, dialogues and half-dialogues, experiments with tone and structure, theological and philosophical investigations, different brands of realism, and features many hidden jokes and symbols in order to satisfy literary pranksters and pedants alike. This is the author's debut work of fiction.*note on language*The book makes moderate use of the Spanish language, often without translation, as in each instance the sound and sight of the Spanish word takes prevalence over its meaning, and readers should feel invited to have fun with what they see. When understanding is necessary, a translation is provided. Those able to use Spanish may find a small extra enjoyment in the work.
