Fitting "P"ieces: Perfecting Servanthood for the Whole Body was first published in 2017 as a section of chapter 3 in Prayer Power, the debut Victorious Praise book. The three sections of chapter 3 of Prayer Power are now available at Amazon in separate books in a series called "Three 'Letters' for Building the Body of Christ." The titles of these books are as follows: (1) Fitting "P"ieces: Perfecting Servanthood for the Whole Body; (2) Over "C" ing the Head: Prayers of Support for Leadership; and (3)"S" Senses of the Body of Christ: Seeing, Sound, Smelling, Savoring, Suffering. Fitting "P"ieces begins with an assessment of the meaning of spiritual "wholeness" and "fitness" for members of the church as the body of Christ. After defining what it means to be "whole" and "fit," Fitting "P"ieces then focuses, in five separate chapters, on how each piece helps to perfect the whole body of Christ; to perfect means to mature in Biblical terminology. These "P"ieces are as follows: (1) Presence; (2) Praise; (3) Provisions; (4) Progress; and (5) Prayers. The Presence "P"iece discusses the importance of church attendance, both in physical body and in mind. The Praise "P"iece details the scriptural commandment to praise God as well as the practical benefits of doing so. The Provisions "P"iece emphasizes the importance of seeking God first in all that we do because when we learn to release our time and resources to Him as a priority, we will find that everything else has a way of falling into place. The Progress "P"iece encourages us to mature from milk to meat in our Christian service so that we can in turn nurture others. The Prayers "P"iece exhorts us to stay on the wall of intercession. Jesus Himself set the standard for servanthood, even though He was the Son of God. This point is made in Mark 10:14: "For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." It is my prayer that everyone who reads this book will be strengthened with might by the Spirit in the inner man to be faithful servants, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
