A wise man once said "A being is only as valuable as he has friends." I have many, and I value them even above the Road itself, for without friends, I would have no one to share with. Experiences shared are experiences multiplied, for after you have shared them, you still have them, undiminished. I count as friends not only humans, but the animals and the plants, all living things, and even the rocks and stars and all else that makes up my world. In this book, I introduce you to many of my good friends, and even a couple of bad ones. After reading this book, I think you will understand that you are also my friend, that we are old friends who simply have not yet met. Gold friends, for like gold, they are everywhere; you just have to know how to find them.
