This is Volume Two of the two volume work, The Great Cryptogram by Ignatius Donnelly. Volume One is in progress and will be available within six months. It is his contention that the Shakespeare plays were actually written by Francis Bacon, who not only had the learning necessary to compose such works, but also, as a known cipher-creator, put such a cipher into the plays to tell a secret history of the man from Stratford, William Shakspere, and of the intrigues in the court of Queen Elizabeth.
