For the first time in his life, Trevor Ladouceur is comfortable in his skin. After a night of celebration ends in passion, Trevor panics and leaves before Derek wakes up the following morning. Years later, Derek is traded to the team Trevor plays for, the Detroit Wheels. Trevor is forced to face some hard truths-not only is he gay, but he's also in love with Derek. When the coach of the Wheels puts them together both on and off the ice, Trevor realizes he doesn't want to lose Derek again. Now Trevor is convinced he can have it all-a career and the man he loves. All he has to do is figure out how to come out to his family, keep his relationship secret from the rest of his teammates, and win the Stanley Cup. Shouldn't be too difficult, right?
