September 23rd, 2005, at 6:28 in the morning I began venting through email post. For a long time after, I'd stay up, late at night, or wake up early in the mornings to write fresh poems. Some of them came while at home with the family. Many came overseas while frustrations were peeking. Whatever the case, a plethora were collected over the past thirteen years. Some brought ego-boosting responses from family, friends and unsolicited recipients. Others not so much... The important thing is, these verses, after tumbling like drying clothes in a brimming mind, eventually made their way out. Now, so many years later, they're coming to the forefront once again, this time neatly formatted into a book of poems I call Sunshine.
