My bias against the word Gonna has nothing to do with its usage in writing or in common speech. My bias of the word stems from the mindset of many of the people I have met in my life who use the word as some kind of mantra. As you will discover throughout this book they use other words to: shoulda, coulda, woulda and many more and often these words are used as justification for their failings in life and why others (who have actually achieved something) should be viewed as less than them, as objects worthy of theirs and others scorn.
