Caught up in the excitement of planning her wedding, Grace Carlucci finds herself living in her past. Memories of the mother she lost far too early in life have begun to occupy too much of her time. At what should be the happiest point of her life, Grace finds herself spiraling out of control, alienating family, friends and possibly the man of her dreams. When an event from her uncle's past comes to light Grace focuses all of her confusion on the new piece of information. She doubts her faith and begins living in fear until one day when it all comes crashing down and Grace finds that losing control may well mean regaining her life. Learning that the past can color the future but not define it sets Grace back on the track she knows and loves, family life in all of its chaotic splendor.
