This is an action-packed story of foreign intrigue. A former DEA Agent, now a Private Investigator, incurs the wrath of a Colombian Drug Lord while investigating a case in Guatemala. Pursued by National Police officers acting at the behest of the Drug Lord, and assisted by a beautiful woman, he escapes to Mexico and the USA. Working at times as an informant for the DEA, he arranges the capture of a Colombian Drug Lord, known as El Martillo, and, at a later date, his vengeful son. The scene is initially Guatemala, then Mexico, and eventually Belize and the Gulf of Mexico. The book describes action on the ground, in the skies of Latin America and also on the high seas of the Gulf of Mexico.
