Waddles was born in the Spring of 2015. A colorful and charismatic koi fish, Waddles was loving life and living in a beautiful backyard koi pond on Long Island, New York. Being an adventure seeker, Waddles wandered into the pond's filter system. He lost his tail in a frightening accident. With a severed tail that had no chance of growing back, his devastating injury didn't stop him from living life! Once frail and frightened, Waddles began his triumphant journey to recovery. He has proven that even though he is a fish, he doesn't need a tail to swim! This is his courageous story of his will to live.
