7-almost-8-year-old Angel arrives all set to spend a couple of weeks at a farmhouse where the people don't farm. Dad's a lawyer, mom's a musician, and 13-year-old Megan runs a vegetable stand. And then there's Travis, who at 16 knows all there is to know. Soon, Angel helps Megan boost sales, almost cuts off a finger in a knife game, receives mystery kittens, and scopes out a fake murder scene. But her main focus is to polish up her act for the next big TV talent show. She's pretty sure she'll be a winner, because how many kids can blow bubbles, perform intricate yo-yo moves, and tap dance all at the same time? Fame comes quicker than she expected, but celebrity can be treacherous as well. Can Angel outwit the evil ones who intend to cash in on her sudden fame?
