Lanee Connors is about to learn what living really is about. She is used to living vicariously through her best friend, Claudia, but things are about to change when she meets Ezra Lanphear. She wants to be normal like her friends but she is scarred on the inside. Ezra is confident and vocal. He sees something in her that makes him want to know her. He wants to be patient for her. He wants more with her. Lanee is trying to be normal for him and he is teaching her how to heal from the inside out.
