Wendy Thomas hurried back and forth delivering orders to hungry customers. Waitressing was hard back breaking work. Being on your feet for hours listening to people complain about their day, how slow you move, that the food taste funny, you don't smile enough or too much and so many other things that drive her to the brink of insanity. The only bright light was the paycheck and being able to afford a decent life working as a receptionist during the day and this other job during the evening shift. Monday to Friday for the first job and Wednesday to Saturday for the second. Sundays was for church, God's day. One she made sure that her seven year old son celebrated no matter the whining or pouting.
