This is a textbook on everything. Don't think of it as an entire library of human knowledge, it's just the bookshelf. This book provides interconnected descriptions of the human body and brain as well as the natural and social world we live in. It is broken into relatively short, self-contained sections. Don't be overwhelmed by the amount of pages, the main text is less than a fifth of the total. You read this book in order, you can jump around to different sections based on your curiosity, or you can just flip it open to a random page and read a single section at a time.
