Everyone has that one moment in time that rocks their world or changes the trajectory of their lives; for the better or for the worse. But It's the perspective that we choose to adopt that determines that outcome. For me, my story of separation and divorce catapulted me into the woman that I am today. With over 300,000 divorces that took place in the year 2016 across the U. S; according to the National Marriage and Divorce Rate Trends, I thought it was important to share my journey on such a circumstance that is becoming a commonality in over 50% of households in America. Finding the treasure through the storm encourages the reader that while they are going through one of the most life changing seasons of their lives, there is still hope. Hope in finding Peace Hope in finding Joy Hope in single parenting Hope in rebooting their lives Hope in loving again Hope in getting through the grief and gaining an authentic relationship through salvation with Jesus Christ. I hope and pray each reader will find the courage they need to intentionally find the treasure in whatever storm they are walking through.
