P. W. Kielty has published poems in some of America's finest poetry magazines, as well as in a previous collection, Cast Upon the Water, published in Paris, France. The selection of poems in Distant Threads includes a few already published in such magazines as The Lyric, Atlanta Review, The Edison Review, The Goose River Anthology and The Deronda Review. In the last few years, he's published a mystery novel series, The Lightfoot Trilogy, in addition to a romance novel, Children of the Rain, and a collection of short stories, The Faces of Youth. He's had other short stories published in Crimespree Magazine and Spitball: The Literary Baseball Magazine.
