As she stood in front of a judge during sentencing wondering how she got there, she finally could see what everyone else could see. She was a college student, who's life would change forever. Being raised by her grandparents and witnessing their share of relational issues, she thought that loving someone consisted of staying and working it out by any means necessary. The real fight began upon her release from prison. Can you imagine completing hundreds of applications and no one calls because you have checked a box confirming you have been convicted of a crime?
