Whilst at university together, the shock of a terrorist bomb attack in London is the trigger that seals the developing romance between Andrew and Francisca. Overcoming family losses and financial setbacks, Andrew develops a successful property business in Britain and in Spain. At the same time Francisca becomes part of the international aid community providing a caring response to families escaping from the increasing level of international violence and natural disasters. Their marriage is blessed with a baby daughter and their career paths become united when they are able to provide shelter to a group of desperate refugee families. This catches national attention and leads them to form a charitable aid foundation.
