The author is presenting an E-book on "Basics in textile warp sizing" to first year B. Tech and diploma students. The author has tried to cover the basics related to conventional creel, size box, drying technique, headstock and size preparation technique. The book content is designed as per the syllabus of the first year. The intention of the author is to give the basics of sizing to the students and industry personnel/ technician, which will help them to develop their knowledge towards modern sizing and preparation so that further developments can be ignited with the things obtained. The graduates will fulfil the need of industry towards product development and R& D. The author is having good industrial experience in weaving and weaving preparatory. He is having 16 years of teaching experience to graduates and postgraduate students. Author has published more than 40 national and international papers and attended seminars, workshop and training on weaving practice. The book is the outcome of all varied experiences to cater the need of students. It is also helpful to the executives and managerial personnel, who are not sound in technical knowledge but are good in practical experiences.
