Darius, Alex, and Myrtle go off to college. Darius lodges with retired Professor Doogle. Alex rooms with John Porter in an old college dorm. Darius, Alex, and Myrtle immediately take Alex's affable roommate into their inner circle. While immersed in fraternity rush with John's fraternity, a crisis erupts that entangles them all in a mysterious murder. John is implicated and charged with the crime.
