This book proposes that the purpose of crying is to integrate trauma. It also proposes the trauma that has not been integrated leaves people living from images and beliefs. And these lead to every disaster of mankind, including murder, rape, child abuse, spousal abuse, and especially war. Beliefs always trump reality, and crying is the only road back to reality. This book is about the biological function of crying.
