This collection of 52 poems was written by the author (David A. McLeod) over the course of the most difficult and important year of his life. Inspired by his daughters, and their relationship, he weaves together an open letter to them, in the hopes his words will remembered long after he's gone. From grit, to forgiveness, to acceptance and vulnerability, these are not the stories of a perfect father or a perfect life. They are confessions. Honest and exposed. Lessons learned through mistakes, grace, and sacrifice. This is a journal of his hopes and fears and testament to the respect and admiration he holds for his family and his role as a father.
