Coltrane Decker wanders aimlessly through a jungle of bottom feeders in an affordable housing complex in Southern California. While trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy in a combat zone of drunks, thieves and drama queens, he realizes that he's a pinball in this game of life and that sometimes fate is a lion and he's holding it at bay with a spear. A touch of deceit, a hint of larceny, a little romance - it's all there and the rent is cheap.
