The Shabbos Table Project is a campaign to restore and repair the family unit and to restore the spiritual heritage of the Sabbath. The Bible says, "Keep the Sabbath Holy" (Ex. 20:8). Sabbath-keeping is all but lost in our society and the family unit has struggled to stay together. Rabbi Eric will help your family come together over Zoom and teach you how to initiate the Sabbath and keep it holy with a short prayer service and songs, the lighting of candles, and the blessings over bread and wine. The ritual is a way to sanctify the time allowing your family to usher in an undisturbed atmosphere of peace and love, over a special meal.
