There is always someone offering an easier path and that someone was Charisse. Wanda was no different than any one of us. She was a hard working business owner that was just beat down and tired. When her path crossed with Charisse she was given an opportunity that was too hard to walk away from. Wanda was warned, "everything comes with a price and everyone's price is different," Charisse would tell her. Wanda should have made sure she knew the cost before accepting this deal. Charisse wasn't bound by time or place, she exposed Wanda to all of it. The walk Wanda chose to take with Charisse would bring her back in time to witness historical tragedies and present day horrors. The business that Charisse conducts in this world is darker than Wanda could have ever imagined. The devil has been around conducting her business for a long time and business has never been better. Her contracts are locked tight. It's easier signing a deal with the devil than to get out of one as Wanda would find out.
